scummy,the red,white came from a photo of a B61 that was in truckin' life magazine,looked at black gaurds before don't like that,thinking of painting it Holden morpheus which is a purple.have a look on page 2 u see a purple mack going to build mine like that,will put white scroll work on it,going to build it up on a Black thunder kit.

going to paint cab gloss black them put a coat of clear with pearl powder reflex violet.it will give me the colur that I am looking for.

Ya Kane,is does look good in one colour,was going to copy one in green,white, but will be going back to just the dark green,going to build a tipper body for the back of it. have it striped back and under coated again,this time will leave it one colour

As a matter of curiosity Al ,whats happening when you do the second colour? Is it a paint problem or a tape one , what type of paint are you using?

doorslammerfan,it was tape and clear coat had not gone hard enough,green is Tamiya acrylic X-5 green,put 2 coats of auto acrylic on top,put tape on it put on tamiya white,it looked great untill I pulled the tape off it pull the clear off back to the green it has worked before,I did not give it time to dry,

Been there and done that mate . About to TRY and pull off some multi colour paint jobs again. Patience is a virtue I am very slowly learning at least I wont have to worry about any extra bodywork. Good luck mate.

Gday Al , you need to ues the frosty tape , it seems that its not as sticky as the other stuff .

scummy,the tamiya tape is low tack,but it does not help when one holds the cab were the tape is.

hard trouble with the dark green as there was a lot of marks in the paint,hve striped it back and repainted it,base colour is titanium silver will have top coat of clear blue on it,
