The older Monster trucks (like the recently reissued AMT USA1 kit) just ran gert big leaf springs and about 4 shockers per wheel.

Started making up some Coil Over shocks, using Evergreen tube and springs from old pens........

....there will 2 for each corner. The bigger ones will be on the front.

Still got to make the remote canisters yet.

Found some "Eyelets" that made great spring retainers for the coil overs. Also mocked up the remote canisters...............

Sorry about the poor pic.....camera just didn't want to play the game

Got the "Eyelets from Lincraft....$3.00 for a packet of 100

Great job on the coil overs, In all the years that I've been making them I had never thought of using eyelets what size are they so I can run out and buy them and did they come in the different sizes? looks likes it going to save me some work in the future.
Now just have to find the local Lincraft shop with out telling the wife, other wise I will be stuck in their for hours, Like I am at spotlight.

I always feel quite rare browsing through those places looking for odds and ends to use on models. Particularly when someone asks you what you're looking for...

Unfortunately I am at sea for two more week's, some times it just suck's to be a seaman (captain), specially when the autum storm's already has started in mid of august, normally they start in october/ november, maybe I have to start sailing in far east again, so I don't get bodered with theese storms anymore Smile
I will for sure take up my explorer when I come home, will check the possibilities for it
