TEXACO SREVICE STATION

this is Texaco srevice station,it has came out with other names its 1/24 scale,for the price of it you get bugger all Rolling Eyes ,will have to get some plastic card sheets for walls,as you get front one and one side one,will be building it up over the next few months will be changing the name to Goldern Fleece,will be putting small shop on the left with workshop on the right,will put back wall up,will be building the VW ute as workshop ute will be adding bits as I go.here is the walls you get with the base.this will be a long build.

i,am building one of those myself and doing the same sort of thing in the interior like cut out for toilets an walls etc. niceone popcorn

Geoff its MRC kit number BC 100 1/24 scale,HOT EH was going to blank the toilet doors off still thinking on it,

allan you got me wrong Iam opening all the doors and detailing the shop as well as the work shop bay and adding on a roof that will come off/ and out side work area undercover. scratch etc cheers colin

HOT EH,open the doors will be good and roof sounds interesting,I going to put the station on large bit of MDF so I can put the fuel bowsers out front got a 37 ford pick up that will be turning into a old tow truck,

I started one of these ages ago to Al, its my "do a bit when the mood strikes" project. I filled in the hole for the hoist and shortened the front window and lengthened the door. Enclosed the walls and built in the crapper!

Im going to put in the Fujimi 2 post hoist and move it closer to the wall, the reason behind the widening off the door was to enable 2 cars to fit in the workshop, you very rarely see a single bay workshop..

I work at a small Esso once it had small one bay,my job was to check the water,oil and tyres,girl put petrol in the cars,I was 16 at the time,worked there for 3 months before it closed.

Got to pick up a bit of timber to sit it on in the new year so I can make a start on it. It will be a long slow build too.
