My 67' Shelby GT500

Post by 67shelbyGT500 on Thu 28 Apr 2011, 10:03 pm

I got this for my birthday last month, because it is my all-time fav car, my room is pretty much gt500 themed lol. My parents told me that when they bought it, they actually requested it from a hobby shop, but they told my parents that because of a lawsuit between the Producers of Gone in 60 Seconds the model cars can no longer have the name Eleanor. But then a weeklater the guy rung my parents and told them that he had bought 7 of them from a guy in the states, he bought all 7 of them because apparently because of the lawsuit, the ones with Eleanor on the stands are very hard to find now. So i was lucky enough to get one Very Happy. Heres some pics (sorry for the really bad quality, had to use my phone camera)

You are very fortunate to have one of these Eleanor models. Hang on to it. The model looks great doesn't it.

Nicholas Cage could sort it all out for them...nice diecast. Love the late 60s Mustangs.

Sorry i have no idea, i would doubt it though, he kept 2 for his personal collection i think, so that leaves 4.
But this happened in March so i doubt theres any left.
