Blown XWGT

Post by southy on Sat 10 Mar 2012, 11:09 pm

Hers a model which i bought from James Holmes already modified and then pulled it apart and add a few more goodies. Was a V8 supercar engined XW until it got a blower.[img][/img][img][/img][img][/img][img][/img][img][/img][img][/img]
All modified parts made by Corrupted Diecast and are in stock. Cheers

It looks great. Both ways. Of course I'll have to say I like it better with the blower sticking out of the hood, hehehe. But with me, the engines usually gotta stick out of the hood or have a big scoop.
Oh, the fuel pump and filter I think are upside down and backwards. The main filter goes before the pump and the element goes below the fuel lines, and the pump has the motor on top(but I guess it will work that way too. If a seal in the pump leaks fuel will get into the pump motor, and oops.
pssst...shifters back'erds too. hehe

good on with picking on me but your right the shifter is in backwards but who would pick it , oh you would so now i'll have to change it. It fell out when i turned it upside down so i just jammed it back in there. It was a big day and a late night so obviously not thinking. The pumps do come out like that as that's the way my Magna fuel pump came out so i'm guessing they are that way so that if anything fails in the pump it doesn't get to the engine. Thanks for picking on all my mistakes Brian. Give me a break i mensioned they where all your parts so maybe you made them backwards. LOL

LOL. That is very possible. Hey if I didn't pick on you who would? It's ok, I've got a box of masters that I got almost finished with them and realised I was making the parts totally wrong.
