You can get model models from some of the old AMT trophy series kits. They were meant to be put on the parcel shelf of the model or on top of a trophy (they also put in scale soft toys).
I think i've got one or two which you can have to get you started if I can find them.
N gauge model railway cars could also be used but would be more like 1/10 scale RC cars in your dio. I think N gauge is 1/144. Anyone want to do the maths as to what the equivalent scale is if you use them in a 1/25 dio?
And, you must be able to get toy cars for dolls houses but again they might be on the large side.

OK, done the maths. It's easier than I thought as N gauge is anything between 1/148 & 1/164 (how can train modellers, who are notorious rivet counters, cope without having one specific scale?).
So if we take a 1/150 scale car and put it in a 1/25 scale diorama it represents a 1/6 scale model. A big RC toy in other words.

I've seen model aircraft carriers (1/350 or smaller) with tiny planes if you want ot make the denizen of your shed an aircraft modeller...

I've actually thought about those 1/350 planes, being a closet aircraft builder it seemed natural to have a model aircraft hanging up in the shed (just as I have here). I haven't seen any kits that have the small replicas in them, I knew there were some from years ago, but I never got any myself. Any donations / contributions, (I'm happy to pay for if needed), would be much appreciated and duly acknowleged.
Anyway here are a couple of recent shots of the shed with improved tool board and general dirt/debris around the place.

Tim, the power cords are solid core solder with turned sprue plug ends all painted satin black. The power points are images downloaded from somewhere stuck onto blocks of styrene. The power sockets are US configuration as I couldn't find any Aust style images.

I just love the crap on the floor under the benches.
You are a star mate.
I haven't got out to the shed today to have a look for model models (had to go out drinking with a friend for her birthday) but I will tomorrow.

Might just have to browse the local Hobby store this week and see if I can find the 1/350 aircraft, I need to get this whole dio wrapped up soon and move on.

Cheers

OK time for an update.
Firstly I have to thank Fred for planting the seed on this idea, also a big thanks to him for the tiny vehicle donation.
And I have to thank The Bogie for the same type of donations.
I also went out and bought a bunch of 1/700th aircraft made to go on aircraft carrier models, so I built a few and modified a couple of others then made a couple of display cabinets for them all to go in, just like my 1:1 shed.
Also some more tools and goodies on the work bench at the rear.
Enjoy.

Still ain't done though.
Thanks for looking.

They were from the AMT Trophy series kits. They come chrome plated and are meant to be actual trophies on stands.
I never got any of them myself all these ones were donated by Fred (Zenrat) and The Bodgie (a good mate here in SA).
I modified them a little, the 32s I cleaned up and reshaped and I put different wheels (chunks of styrene rod) on the Plymouth Barracudas?
Cheers

Good job on the miniature shed. Are you still searching for more parts?
A number of years ago, we did a TV commercial that required 100's of miniature props. I still have some of those and I think they were be about 1/25 scale.

Hell yeah, I'm open to any suggestions or additions that would suit.
I'm happy to pay for any stuff I could use in the Dio fella, I'll send a PM.
