Coming along Zen, can't wait to see more of that Hydro Hemi.

I have been getting bits and pieces done as time and effort allows. Finally got the new bed I ordered from Modelhaus Very Happy

Filled the cut lines from the section-

The interior will need modifying anyway thanks to the section, so I started on a new seat-

I also finished off the dash, but that's not very pic-worthy at this stage.

*UPDATE
Well, time for the next 'section' of this build. I stared at the bed for a really long time and decided the best way to go about sectioning it was to cut the sides off. This way the inside bits don't need any modifying. Unless I decide to cut the bottom out later, but that's irrelevant for now Razz
So, it took some doing, but I got the sides off-

Then marked them up for cutting-

At this stage I decided to dive into my other bed, and catch some sleep for the night. Or morning. Razz
Thanks for tuning in folks Very Happy

Takes a bit of time and effort to get through the resin, but here's one side cut and mocked up-

Thanks for checking in...

Thanks Allan and Adam Very Happy
Here's what it should resemble once I've cleaned up the cuts and chopped it a bit. That about 2 inches (scale) off the top, too mild?

Yay for progress!, while I was sleeping my van turned into an Oldsmobile!

The best kit I have ever had the privilege of messing about with, going with curbside so I can use the engine and stuff on other projects, maybe a hotrod, the engine is far too wonderful to hide away.

Thinking between dark green or fluro orange, those would clash nicely with the chrome I rekon. Too much inspiration to stick to building just one kit!!!!! I need help!!!!

Dark green AND Flouro Orange.
Tribal flames or scallops.

Or, just take your saw, cut the front off and glue it onto the van...

OK.
Pics.

Boat is smoothed & primed.

Poor parts fit & a plethora of sink marks meant 2 goes with the filler.

Body is undercoated and awaits a colour decision.

Interior is coming along.

Hmm, I can actually picture that front on the van. It doesn't look too bad either Razz

You're going well Zen, your project's coming along pretty well. And quick. Quite quick.
In fact, the rate you're going, you might finish before me. Who would'a thunk? Razz

Dunno. I want to use the kit decals so i'll have to check what colours they are. Box art is a sort of light beige colour. Typical 70's.
The boat will be Red/White but i'm not tied to making the car and boat the same colours.

So how we all doin'?

I'm concentrating on the 4by for now.
It's mostly together.  I'm on the weathering and final extras (the bits I forgot - like drive shafts - and left till last - like tow bar & bumpers).
I went with some light beige I mixed up from various enamels.

How'd I manage to miss this challenge?

Guess better late than never huh?

Guess too that I better check the stash and see if I have a suitable late model truck so I can join in.

That looks Wheely good...

I've almost finished the car.
I thought I had finished but then I picked up the chrome sprue to strip the leftover parts off into the parts boxes and realised I hadn't fitted the mirrors before weathering.
Bugger!

Ta guys Smile

That looks awesome zen, weathering is fantastic!

My modelling is still lax. Studying takes the preference at the moment, its pretty heavy stuff. I shall be lurking and trying my best to get anything done model-wise.

Thanks Slowly.
Can I suggest you try to keep a small corner set up for modelling so you can grab a quick bit of tinkering time when the studying gets too much.
I find it helps me unwind.
