My Run around

Post by Adam Clark on Sun 27 Oct 2013, 12:47 pm

Righto. Well I don't have a car, and I get from point A to point B on either the bus or my BMX.
And seeing as I'm not allowed to re-paint a bus I decided to redo my bike. Razz
I've had the bike for the best part of 10 years, and it still had original paint and stickers on it. Things started to get a little rusty, so I patched it up, sanded it down and threw some paint over it.

And this is how it has turned out!

Gonna paint the rims black and then put it back together. Smile
Cheers for looking

If this has the traditional type of pushie brakes where rubber blocks bear on the rims to slow you down then painting the rims will result in brake blocks clogged with paint and brown underpants.
Don't ask me how I know.

Nice colours.

That's looking cool, needs white pin striping on it or white flames. I had a speedwell dragster bike when I was 11, it had long front fork, hight handle bars, long seat, dummy fuel tank, it was bright metallic green.

Well, I've got this all together now. I think it's come up pretty well myself. A few minor things to tweak such as the breaks touching and things rubbing, but that'll come in time.
Enjoy Smile

Thanks guys! Smile

Oh, and the "amazingly talented" DeeCee has managed to fix my brake issue. Now I can ride in style and ease. Cool

Great work Clarky, nice colour.
I upgraded my old pushy years ago too, I used the same colour that's on my S Val, just wished I had half a clue how to pinstripe.....
