57 Chevy customs

Post by Bigdaddy0 on Sun 15 Dec 2013, 6:10 pm

Hi everyone. It has been a very long while since I was last on. I'm impressed by the level of models in the build. I thought I would share a couple of models that are taking up space on my table. Both are AMT 57 chevy's, I am also working on the Black Widow 57 Chevy and a Revell 57 chevy street machine. The two AMT chevies are a mild custom and a radical custom. Hopefully both will be completed over this Christmas break. I have been working on these on and off for the last two years.

Thanks baZOOKa. I got the idea for the radical rear end from a custom 57 chevy that was getting around during the sixties, can't remember what it was called. I'm hoping to do it justice. Both the front end and rear ends are from the 50 ford kit. The both have been widened to accommodate the wider body. These have been annoying me for the last two years so its time to either throw them or finish them so I decided to finish them. Not sure of the wheels or drive train yet, any suggestions?

Looking good, like Bazooka, not sold on the rear of the 2nd car. But will wait to see it finished.
