Saturday Night At The Movies

Post by dv8v8 on Sun 12 Jan 2014, 12:43 pm

Have been building this for a looong time finally got around to finishing it, i think the 62 is an AMT kit (built it well over 10 years ago) the 57 is a Revell kit, the figures are an assortment and the speakers are scratch built. who remembers doing this ?

Very good.
Never done that myself and these days most of the cars at the drive-in seem to be SUVs. I suppose you could throw a blanket over some one in the boot...

Many many times in my old FB at the Metro Drive in in Innaloo or the Odin drive in in Balga (or was it Osborne park ...cant remember... CRAFT setting in hehehe). Then across the road to Grumpy's pizza after the show then down to Scarborough beach for the drags.

Ahhhh so many memories of simpler times.

I'm lucky, my boy knows exactly what he is missing out on, none of this modern plastic for him. Unfortunately, i have 2 old school metal ones in the shed, gotta start hiding the key i think mate.  Rolling Eyes

Now that's cool, seen that a few times at the drive in, see 8 blokes come out of the boot of a tank fairlane one night they got busted.

That 57 should really have hid about 8 blokes in the boot . It really brought back some memories . Thanks for that
