Trabby

I think it was vintage JDM who did the car with the japanese warplane paint job and posted it up here.
This is his fault.

Silverfox will like this one as he's got one to build, its a ugly little one but that paint work makes it look better, cut hole in the roof and put in a big machine gun

Thanks folks.  It really needs rust but seeing as the bodies were made from compressed cotton...

Silverfox - watch out when assembling the body, dash, bonnet, interior and chassis.
Despite all seeming to be fine and dandy when I test fitted everything when It was all glued together the bonnet wouldn't stay shut completely.  I solved this by cutting the hinges as far back as I can reach so it now slides out.  I think this was caused by the hinges fouling the firewall.  It might pay to file out the firewall slots a bit deeper (I tried trimming the hinges and they just went floppy and made it all worse.

Now I want the station wagon version so I can build a sedan delivery - Herr Flick's Knockwurst Delivery Service.
Or maybe an SS divvy van.

Thanks for the info Zenrat , mine is a real old Revell kit , no opening bonnet , just a one piece body , got it from a garage sale for $5.oo .A pretty basic kit , just a fun build . You can now get a Revell trabby wagon as well .
