Post by OldYella on Mon 15 Jun 2015, 10:38 pm

so i got a shiny in the mail box today ( put a smile on my face after a weekend of being crook )

and since i havent posted any thing , and this is a new car i can post from the start i thought id make a topic , and leave the other cars im working on to another post

soooo heres what ive got collected together so far

a little bit of work to do on the chassis , all in all shouldnt be to hard or long of a build , still have some decisions to make on how i want to finish it yet , so some internet research is in order now

did a little bit , the body actually has paint on it , its just dam near the same colour as the resin , and itll be the lighter of the 2 tone paint job the other colour being metallic purple

seats are joined in the middle , ill wait till ive done a floor to work on them more , frames  cut and shut , will wait until the engine comes to decide and work on the front end set up , rear will be IRS , might work on that over the weekend ....gotta pick some boots yet , ive got 3 or 4 im interested in , and yes antwon the engine will be a flatty , of v12 variety Smile

engine arrived today , spent a little time gluing the halves together and the heads on , as well as cutting the crossmembers out of the front of the chassis so i can bring the rails in a little closer to match the body . ill start at the back and make my way forward , fabbing the IRS set up , settling on engine position and getting that in then the front suspension and grill . Decided to use 23" wheels all round so the front end looks phat but low slung
( thats the ideas i have in the head any ways )
