Thank's 70cudatj, Had to paint it in a dark colour as its molded in dark red plastic Rolling Eyes   Its a old Monogram kit the EL Camino camper it has a turbo V6 engine. Don't know why they call it a camper its what we call a canopy Smile  have a another early EL Camino that has a camper to be built one day.

Yes staying with the V6, Silverfox has the canopy he is painting it Metallic Red for me, He is using a rattle can I can not use them Laughing

The chrome on the two bumper bars has rub off on the edges will strip them and paint them body colour, as soon as the westly winds stop. Rolling Eyes

The canopy is in mica red with pearl clear followed by a clear coat, it pops in the sunlight, It was done by Silverfox, the ute body will have a pearl coat over it too.
The reason why Silverfox did the canopy was I looked a few colours and could not find any to work, the canopy and ute body is molded in dark red, white was out of the question as the red would of came through, Bruce said what about a metallic red colour, so that's how its came about. Thank's Bruce.

Almost smashed this one, the rear window glass has a hole in the left hand corner and the two rear 1/4 glass is not all there Crying or Very sad

u wont even see the rear when its put together and those lil quarter glasses r easy to make, use some clear plastic from packaging and use the old ones for a template just extend them a bit further.

Ya dv8v8 after I posted photos I sat back down to look at it after the dummy spit, the canopy will hide the rear window and the 1/4 glass will be easy fixed. Laughing canopy has side glass and rear glass. Besides silverfox would kick my butt if I smash it. Laughing

Small set back with this one, Mad put the wheels on the chassis left front wheel is sitting in the air Shocked Rolling Eyes  will have to put chassis on hot water to bend it in place, chassis is buckle. Mad Rolling Eyes
