Europa

Getting back to what I like best - weird scratch builds - Europa GT???? The kit was damaged in transit so only bits were useful. Power train is Indy car as are the wheels. The turbo area has been shortened to keep the engine in the bay & a bigger turbo added. An intercooler is coming with a snorkel ( maybe). At this stage the chassis is sorted & the body is sitting in the right place so next is the guard extensions. At first I was going to use flat wrapped sheet the same as I did on the 67 Mustang from last year but these wheels stick out a fair bit further so its a bit of cut & shut coming up. At the moment it is getting a small rear wing but that is open to ideas.

Hard bit is done now. The rear guards are flat wrapped sheet & the front are some inner guards from an old floor pan. Next up is the cockpit

Next two are the initial filling. I tried to keep the amount of filler down to a minimum

Final three shots are after the primer coats. Just a little more cleaning up & we are ready for paint
