Tiny update, as i spent all week-end watching the Bathurst 12 hour.....

Done the nose extension so the dragster will actually fit inside,
and a logo, just so everybody following will know what is in front of them..

Love the work you're doing here Dee... Absolutely an all out project that I'm keeping my eye on mate!.
I do however, envy the way you round off those edges (Trailer extensions), I use Tamiya Putty & a lot of sanding, then more tamiya putty (thinned & brushed on), but I can't seem to get it right!. What method do you use & is there a good spray putty/filler available & what primer?...I'm working on a Willys altered dragster at the moment, but just can't seem to get the edges & contours nice.
Sorry to bag ya down with Q's mate, but I guess I'm also after something that's gonna look right when it's finished. Cheers.

P.S. Nothing wrong with the Ol' Tooheys mate!... Wink

Thank's for the interest guys, this will slow down a little, as i have another build off going on, but i will still tinker with it inbetween .

Jerry, questions is how we all learn what to do, never ask, and you shall never know... ( that was deep.. Rolling Eyes )..

I use Squadron white putty, and a good automotive spray putty, usually duplicolor or at the moment Motospray, they fill nicely, and work well with the squadron.
I shape it with about 180 grit, then re-fill, shape again with about 400, then spray putty, then about 600 wet/dry.
Undercoat is ALWAYS auto primer, as my paint is always automotive based aswell.
If you want any more specifics mate, just drop me a PM, always happy to hep if i can..

cheers men.. Thanks

Thanks heaps for that info Dale... even the "Deli Llama" quote! bowdown  Anyway looks like I need to change the putty & primers that I use if I'm to engage in some serious Body Mods!. Cheers again my friend and good luck with your projects.

Well, after a bit of a nudge from Allan, here is a small update , i actually pulled this out of the box last week-end and made some sides for the trailer to hide the wheels, next, i have to design a goose neck hitch for it..

Hopefully i get a bit more progress on this very soon.. Smile
