Peterbilt 359

Post by truges on Mon 25 Jan 2016, 12:04 pm

This is my one and only build completed in the last 12 months - its the early 2000s re-issue of the AMT Peterbilt 359. Out of the box the chassis rails were shaped like bananas which I did my best to straighten, but it meant things were always slightly out of alignment throughout the build.
I tried a bit of engine detailing but don't try and follow the lines anywhere, they are all fiction....

Thanks for looking

That's one very cool Peterbilt, like the weathering on it too.

That looks fantastic! You have really captured the look of a loved, but used truck. The weathering is bang on! Well done.

Thanks for the good feedback guys!
Retrospect that's exactly the look I was going for, not looking derelict but looking as though it's done a few miles and perhaps not been washed since it's last big run.
