'06 Peugeot 307 WRC

Post by R36_Adelaide on Wed 10 Feb 2016, 11:19 pm

Hi everyone,

Thought I would make a WIP of my latest project. Starting with the base Tamiya 307 kit, S27 decals and Tamiya photo etch set. I plan on adding CF where I can and full detail interior. I'm just starting my collection of reference pics for the build so once I have enough of them I'll begin working on the interior. For the white and orange across the front and rear bumper the decals are provided but with so many curves I thought it would be better to just mask and spray. It's about 90% there just need to touch up a couple of bits before starting the decal work. The colours are TS-15 Blue and TS-31 bright orange from Tamiya.

So some progress has been made in the form of all the CF work for the interior. The yellow weave parts have a coat of smoke over the top to get it closer to the real thing. I've also added fittings to the top of the rear strut tops as per my reference pics that will later have lines attached. Still need to add some switches for the centre console. Once I've got all this done I'll start on the wiring.

Got most of the decals on this weekend bar the the ones on the windows. Also continued the detailing of the interior by adding some of the wiring and Hobby Design toggle switches to the centre console. In the pic below I still had four to go.
