67 plymouth gtx

Post by vcv8273 on Sat 20 Feb 2016, 12:04 pm

Hi started this one a few years ago and decided to try and finish off all my stalled projects this year before I start a new one. Paint is duplicolor evergreen, have bmf, clear coated  and the interior is painted in plasticote beige. Am using the 426 that came with the kit but decided to supercharge it but still have to paint and detail it yet as it still is in the fitting stages. Have lowered the front and rear suspension and found these rims from the parts box. Added disc brakes front and rear from the parts box and that's as far as I got. Hope to be finishing it along side the roadrunner. Cheers and thanks for looking. Any comments welcome.

That is a sweet color on it mate, and the wheels work well with it too.

Oh yeah this is nice ..
Cool colour choice, I like the grille treatment, and those wheels work well too.

Hi thanks for all your comments. Hope to have this finished soon and will post updates as I go along. Only thing Im dissapointed with this build is I wish I had painted it now and not several years ago as my paint work these days are a lot smoother. Cheers and thanks for looking, steve.

G'day Steve mate. We all get better at this "Model building" caper as we go along. I for one have learnt a lot from the guys on this forum, and don't mind admitting that I've carefully disassembled some of my earlier builds & then reassembled them with better paint finishes, more interior & exterior detail etc. etc.
It's all what makes this hobby interesting.
We all know that photos tend to "hide" some of those "imperfections", but hey!,   we get to see other peoples builds and that's where we get the ideas & inspiration.
Mate, looking back at the pics of this Plymouth... I still reckon "She's a mean, clean, street machine"!. twothumbsup
