Clea's old S.A.R.

Post by clea on Mon 21 Mar 2016, 5:44 pm

Background: 76, i bought my first truck/trailer, K123 & freighter trailer and thought i was making money as a owner driver, 78 i bought a S.A.R. brand new, silver 98TTA 14 spd spicer, thought i'd then make twice as much.
So what do you do.....you make models of them??
Again this started maaaannnnyyyy yeasr back. Got it out again in retirement.

Modified bonnet, 1/4 gaurds, fab dash, mounts, etc,etc

Up on wheels..(nigel's hubs)

Got around to painting it...last year ?...year before?

Someone  "may" remember it, I sold it to John Barrett, he flipped it over out of broken hill, it was in barrett's colours, got it back repainted to original ( used to be "blue Knight" initially)
Went back on the rd as "Warlord"....Bris and FNQ out of melb

Not happy with mirrors, doing some out of brass.......then...I may finish it?
