Hi Tony wondering what colour you going for. Know what its like changing your mind during a long build as my dodge gasser was a mulberry colour with old school decals but with the decals it looked like there was too much going on. Any chance of a few pics of the engine and interior. Cheers Steve

G'day Steve, lam in the middle of another build atm but  after l paint the current build l will let it sit for a couple months before l slice it an buff it,so in between that l will strip the decals and paint off the mopar and start again.
I have three colours in mind all chrysler plum crazy, dark plum pearl or electric blue pearl butwith a silver or white stripe running over the rear quarters and boot lid ,l dont know if l will be going with the blown hemi as l am thinking of going back with the kit hemi and

Hi Tony thanks for the pics of the engine, shame to put that engine into something else as you have done a real nice job on it. Like the idea of electric blue pearl with the white stripe then get rid of the ladder bars but keep the rims/tyre combo and the motor for a wild street car with possibly white interior. Just a thought but know it will turn out sweet whatever you do to it. Cheers Steve

looks good for a dukes kit. that's one horrible excuse of plastic. Nice job turning it into something nice.

-So you guys mentioning the Dukes Charger kit, what would it take to put the Revell '69 Charger frame under that MPC body? Would it even be worth it (I don't have the Revell body) but I have a pretty good idea on the kits frame parts.....

Mr Hemi, revell don't do a 1/16 charger kit. the only other 1/16 charger are from MPC, the 71 charger and a few petty race versions (which the dukes kit is based on).
If you are thinking 1/25, the only reason might be for a charger 500 with the concave rear window, it would still take quite a bit of fettling to get them to fit. you might be better off using parts from Revell's Daytona instead.

Yeah I WAS thinkin 1/25th! I didn't realize this was the 1/16th version!

And yeah your right the Revell Daytona Charger be the easier way to go to get that flush rear window for a Charger 500..... -I have to look and see what all I have for parts as I might have to find a Daytona to do a 1/25th scale Charger 500 now, (I totally forgot about the back window difference from the R/T to the 500!!!!) -I HAVE a "500" grille, but not sure I have the correct body for it!
