How to lighten enamel metallic paint

Hi guys, has or does anyone know how you go about lightening Model Masters enamel Plum Crazy Purple paint still keeping it a metallic? Thanks

The only thing I can suggest is to add a White pearl colour so that way you retain a metallic look, but you also run the risk of it going milky looking. Not as bad as it would be using straight white though.
Just add tiny bits at a time.

Thanx antwon a few people told me the same thing but i tried by adding model masters purple flip flop & it lighten the colour to a colour i'm happy with. Then as if just adding pearl powder would hav, it may hav something to do with the liquid it's already mixed with. cheers mate
